Fig, that Tostover is a propane or natural gas burner on the outside of the fire pot.

Flip the damper down, blocking that exhaust path. Turn off the gas valve. Now you can burn wood or coal in the regular fire pot.

The ash door/ash pan is in the back side of stove for removal.

If it gets alittle cheaper, might be an OK buy.

That would be convenient. I was trying to figure out what all was going on with it. It looks like the ash pan is on the back. Makes me wonder if the just assembled it wrong.

Seen dozens of them. The ash door and ash pan IS in the back. Not put together wrong.
