Thanks for all the information, been great to hear from experts on this website. But with no one actually saying they want to take this stove away, and give us money for a replacement, it's time to "sweeten the pot".

If you buy the Glenwood 180 Kitchen Stove, for $700, you get this nice Smooth Oak Pot Belly Stove FREE.

Yes, FREE. Of course I know nothing about this one either, it's a bit rusted, but seems to be all there, including the grate handle. I took a few pictures, more on request. The grate crank turns, grates look pretty good, and the ash pan is there. It's more rusted due to being outside for a season.

C'mon, make an offer and take both these wonderful Antique Stoves home for some old cast iron fun.

All offers considered, these stoves have to go. Thanks for looking.

Nowhere else, not sure where else it could be listed. Avoiding eBay, hate Craigslist, not on Facebook.

Where would you suggest?

The Smooth Oak has a Glenwood swingtop and finial. Missing the front trim part. It would cost more to make it correct, than the stove is worth. If that matters to the next owner.

Sadly I'm dismantling her because no one on this website stepped up to save this old gal... she's most likely headed to metal recycling for the value of scrap metal. Another "good old stove" lost to history, and lack of interest by coal stove collectors.

She's down to her last hope... eBay, i guess we might as well play Taps right now.

Rest in Peace Glenna...

The scrap dealer will likely sell it rather than run it though a crusher.

I know the guys at my local salvage yard grab lots of stuff and sell it for more than scrap. Even workers at the county dump grab stuff out of the recycling piles and sell it on the side.

Won't be surprised to see it pop up on Craigs list in the future.

I'm thinking based on scrap prices here you should easily get $28 for it at the boneyard.

Ok, if it's worth $28 in scrap and you deliver it, I'll give you $50.

It really wasn't that big of a job to take one of these old Glenwood stoves apart. But whoever said it was a dirty job wasn't kidding. My coal stove black thumb may not go away for awhile

It's in two totes, and 3 main pieces now. The support legs are separate from the Stovetop/Burner Box. And the two top ovens are intact with side mounts. The gas piping will need repair at the stovetop connection point.

So...still no takers here?

Thank you all for your hmmm, what's the right word... support? Yeah ok, leave it at that. Final pictures, final comments, this is finally moving to the garage.
