Hello - got lucky and found this site while looking for info on a stove I'm restoring.
Trying to find sizes of the original screws/nuts and washers used to attach the Beckwith name plate, nickel door plate and upper foot warmers on a Round Oak D-16 ?
I also do some blacksmithing in my buddy's shop so also hoping to look further into locations to purchase coal near here on the Mississippi River in Iowa.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Looking forward to learning/meeting you folks.

If you are using anthracite for smithing contact Blaschak coal and ask for dealer info in your area. If there are any Amish near you someone is ordering it. They sell bags of smithing coal also, but not all dealers will carry it. The Amish near me do and they are on the MN/IA border 60ish miles from the river.
I have no idea of the difference between smithing and regular anthracite coal that Blaschak sells. If you are looking for bit coal thats going to be tougher to find. Maybe the dealer in Ames still has that. Or the mine in Illinois. Good luck with your stove.

Bolts are round head, slotted #12-24 with square nuts. Can substitute with #10-24.
Stove body is put together with them pita rivets, Round Oaks are known for. Makes disassembling alot harder.
Finding cheap coal????

mntbugy - Thanks for the great info ! I do have a bag of original Round Oak screws/nuts and I'm pretty sure I have several of the round head slotted #12-24 with square nuts so I might have gotten lucky. The other Round Oak stoves I've restored I used new black button head allen screws.
Warminmn - good info thanks - we do have Amish near Delhi, IA and some near Fulton,IL so I'll talk with them.
Fred - Thanks, I'm in the process of learning how to post photos so will post them soon. I jumped the gun and posted this before posting an introduction, which I just did. Sorry about that.

Thanks Fred - what kind of draft horses in your photo ? I go to all of the draft horse shows around here and help out when I can. I don't have horses but my grandpa's last 2 horses were a pair of Percherons and he use to give me wagon rides when I was little and let me drive the team. I thought I was driving the team but they already knew when to start and stop. Memories to never be forgotten.
Here's a photo of a realistic floating Loon I carved and got lucky with.
