So I frequent Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. I always have my eye out. Every now and then I search Coal Stove or Glenwood, etc. I saw this Glenwood 114. It's all original. I saw it and fell in love. Then I saw the grate. Someone must've removed the grates and replaced it with a steel plate. Anyway I took it home for a deal. I'll try and get some pics of it if I can slide it over next to the Chubby. The fire pots are similar size, both hold around 30lbs of coal. Overall the Glenwood has more surface area to radiate heat. Also the burn chamber itself is much higher and allows the heat to rise before it exits the flue. https://worcester.craigslist.org/atq/d/north-graf ... 86211.html

No issues noted with the firepot. Appears to be the original liner.

Buying another stove with good grates will be cheaper than buying 4 grate bars and cassette.

See what Mark @ Woodsmans wants for all 5 parts.

If you like it that's all that matters.

Looks like a couple hundred bucks. Hey, if that's all that is missing.

About 500 plus shipping.

Sorry, most people pay 300 for a complete stove with good nickel.

I hope you have the legs.
You will need the grate frame plus grates and cogs plus shaker crank.
Good it has the brick lining.

I paid a lot less than that. I was planning on walking away.

It's a nice stove. Save for the grates. The guy was raving about how well it burned wood! :? They were meant to be dual fuel units but really shine burning coal. Especially with the backpipe.

Asea,
Forum members wilsonwoodstoves or Dana in NH probably have what you need. Stove looks good, and if it's tight, with the backpipe, is a great heater. Good luck!
Cheers

I saw that one weeks ago. You should have bought the Wehrle model 106 with 14 inch pot baseburner for that price.

Doesn't matter who you buy parts from. They will be a couple dollars of each other.
Grates, cassette, gears, handle, real wood plate. Now at 600+ for parts plus the stove.

Here's an absolute beauty in the next town over. Not sure what a realistic price for that is. Still it's a beauty. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/8203308 ... 11db3bd9b7
