Sterling base heater k8

I just bought at auction a sterling base heater k8. I would like to hear from anyone who has one as to restoration and operation.
I will try to restore this stove but have a lot of questions. Someone whose name was Skip posted his sterling restoration dated 2014 with pics.
I am brand new to this forum.

Catalog is 1903. It goes up to "D" series heaters. Your "K" series is probably 1910 following alphabet by years.

No, the "Skip" you are thing of is screen name Wilson's woodstoves from the northeast.

PSQ was referring to Skip from Kansas.

Does anyone have a catalogue and pics of Sterling Base Heater K8? I just picked up one but it is in pieces, not broken but has been taken apart.
