Small Godin Stove-flue adapter
Hi. Just bought home our new vintage stove. Got a 6 inch flue liner but can’t seem to find an adapter. The outlet at the back is approximately 80mm so need 90 degree attachment for it to attach to pipe then to the flue. Thanks in advance. Daf

- Hand Fed Coal Stove: Warm Morning 414A
- Coal Size/Type: PEA,NUT,STOVE /ANTHRACITE
- Other Heating: Ground Source Heat Pump and some Solar
Adapter and 90 degree will likely be 2 individual fittings me thinks.
The Godin 80mm is like 3.15inch that’s going to make for fun finding.

Hi , simply get a piece of 1/4” mild steel plate , 8” square . Cut a hole out the external size of your stoves pipe work ,in the centre of the steel plate . Get 1” wide flat mild steel bar 1/8” thick and roll it to fit the stove pipe and tack weld to one side of the mild steel plate . To the other side roll a piece of 1” wide flat bar in a circle , slightly larger than your pipe work that you are going to connect to your chimney (6””) , and weld to the other side of your mild steel plate . So now you will have a flange that sits over your stove outlet and matching size hole , and a flange (6”depending on chimney pipe work ) flange to connect to your larger pipe work . Paint with high temp paint and jobs done . I’ve done this with my daughters french stove and it works perfect. Sorry can’t show any pics as I’m on vacation in Spain with my wife .

Hi Again , Couldn’t get my son in law to take a picture of the outlet , he sent a picture of the stove working . So as you can see it draws perfectly with no smoke entering the room so I’m sure you stove will do the same . Good luck .

Thanks Fred , just love antique stoves even if it’s a wood burner
