I’ve been on the hunt for 2 years searching for parts for my 53. I was told a guy I know had a stove similar to mine in a corn crib full of junk. So after every bit of 10 yrs I finally asked him today. He said idk go look. So I did and it was exactly what I was looking for. Happy day!!!!
Some broken parts but over all good for combining 2 to make 1. Only half the gas ring is there so still searching for that and the upper smoke deflector behind top door is shot. Got the finiale and skirts I’ve been wanting. This yrs winter is almost over for this guy, as always, looking forward to next winter.

Most people have to buy 2 or 3 Florence to get one, and still have to recast the problem areas these stoves have.
Better send recast now, so you get it back before next heating season.

I’m starting to see that yes and I believe it for sure. Overall I’ve gotten very lucky on this one. This 53 is newer then the one I use and I’ll cross the bridge when I get there but I’ve been told and also notice for myself that sometimes parts don’t match up like they should due to different cast.

I think I did see an older post about someone offering extra parts. The first post I ever made was about asking how the gas rings function.
Btw, I really really like your moto… slow and steady wins the race.
Very very true

Roger the ebay guy has gas rings, but most likely for a 75 or 77 stoves.
Mill Creek Antique's your best bet.
Use a metal bicycle wheel, pull the spokes out.

I get on eBay some and haven’t had much luck. I’ll check out the Mill Creek antiques. Never heard of them before. Thank you very much for the advise. Tonight I did do some door swapping because I’ll use the frame on the donor and the doors on the other. Real good nice fit. Looking forward to this project.
