Not mine yet, but I could use some advice and knowledge on this one. Where are my mica burners? I’m a rookie on these stoves so any info would be great.

Saw this about 4 weeks ago. Saved for just in case.

Not sure of pot size, might be a 12 inch pot.
With the 4 being extra fancy design.
Or
14 inch pot with 2 being more fancy than a 1.

Don't see the magazine in pics. Hard to see with fake/real wood fire.
Way over priced.

If complete, 250-500 is ok for 12 inch pot. Little more if a 14 inch pot.. Up to you what you want to spend. Get as cheap as possible. If you turn around and walk way, seller usually lowers the price quickly.

Look for cracks around/by the dd/id damper on the inside of heater. Around the base chamber front and back corners. Check both sides of the bustle in back (extension). Base pan is it thin sheet iron or solid cast like other parts of stove. Remove swing top, and lift bonnet off. Look for cracks in the main framing.

Looks ok other than magazine??

Can’t get anything past you mntbugy, haha. It’s somewhat local, about 30 minutes away. Antique stoves are rare in my area. I figured it’s way over priced, thought a drive just to check it out may be worth it. So they came with magazines? I wasn’t quite sure what the 24 referenced to, I assume pot size somehow? I know you have a few mica stoves, how does heat output compare to a G6 or C40 type stove (these I am familiar with)? I assume with all that mica the heat pours out of them?

Can't answer your questions. Don't know if bb is a bonnet double heater, or a bustle double heater, or a base chamber double heater.

If bb is 12 inch pot, for now I'll say a hair smaller than C40 in horsepower.

If bb is 14 inch pot, for now, more hp than a #6.

Sipping coal is taken to the next level.

Go take a look and see since close.

If them pics are of a real wood fire. RUN AWAY.
