Thought I would share this with you guys being you might appreciate this stove.
This is a Glenwood oak 16, obviously not a 116.
This dates to the late 1880s or early 1890s, it predates the Glenwood Oak 3 and Glenwood Oak 30 by 8 to 12 years.
I bought this out of the back corner have a barn in Troy New Hampshire back in October and I knew it needed to be restored asap, because at least to me it's worth a lot of money I didn't figure it would sell quickly so I installed it into my living room even know I'm only half done with the renovation.
It retains the original finial and barrel, the only damage to the stove was a broken ash pit door hinge, no other cracks or missing pieces were found, it has a draw center grate set up and a 116 wood plate fits right on top, the ash pit was poured in one piece unlike all other oaks glenwood made after this with their 2 piece ashpit.

Where the pot seats on the ash pit rather than having one ridge has 3 ribs that match to the pot. Evidently the added ridges didn't make a difference being they did away with the design with the #3 and the rest goi n g forward
