They expected 600 to attend... I expect 6. To sell all that stuff in one day ... no way. They need to post what is left on this board. If you bought a load, 6 days to remove it. Stuffed effigies of FF or a stove OK but some of those toys, I don't think so. Terrible auctioneers. I would love to buy some of that stuff but I have a boatload of my own useless chit

A couple members here went to the auction.
All the stovies were there.
Shouldn't take to long to sell that stuff at 40 lots an hour.
Heard some chatter from sale.

I enjoyed it for sure. I grabbed one of those transitional wood and coal burning franklins for trying my hand at restoration.

I would have liked to check out that button collection. Some of them would have been
Platinum,Gold,Silver,Ivory and bone.
Platinum,Gold,Silver,Ivory and bone.
I collect 19th century maine militia buttons and checking for them would of been cool but i didn't want to miss out on the regular auction. I did pick up the sunshine franklin to restore for the parlor. Once i saw the blue tiles i knew i had to get it, and the multi fuel franklins are hard to find. Now to figure out how restoring works! Haha

Saw the pic of that one. Nice.
Sometimes stoves say " Pssst, I'm over here".
That big column stove went for 10k plus tax and buyers premium.
One player piano is going to Switzerland.
Hearing about sale all morning.

I went to the preview on Thursday. I would like to know who bought the collection of model steam engines. Maybe they would consider selling the sawmill powered by the 3 cylinder radial engine.
I don't know who they were but like 3 guys were fighting over them. At one point there was some confusion about what was just chosen previously and i thought i might see an altercation over steam engines!
