I recently acquired one of 3 glenwood master catalogs known to exist.
Here are a few of their coal stove pages.
The book has 86 pages total and measures 18x12”, this one was gifted to the president of sales by someone that must have been higher in the company in 1920.
If anyone has a model they want Info on just ask and I’ll post up the pictures, this book dates to 1915-1920ish but still has some earlier stoves listed as available

I don’t know what it is about this phone but no matter what way I hold the phone or try to edit after the fact they still post sideways. Job security for randy I suppose

I bought this from bill Wilburs widow, I’m waiting for the snow to melt but may end up acquiring his inventory this summer, time will tell

Bill was one of the first to help me with advice and parts, way back when I got my Glenwood range.

His website showed he had the fully restored twin to my 1903 Sunny Glenwood. That showed me what mine (hopefully) will look like someday. Any idea whatever happened to it ?

I haven’t been there in a few years so I’m not sure what’s still around.
His wife said he has customer stoves there and so list or numbers to who they belong to so she needs to wait for everyone to call and figure out their stuff but I’ll look around when I go and try and take a mental note of what’s there

If the Sunny is still there, I hope it finds a good home.

74 degrees outside right now and mine is idling along and still running fine. About to open the dampers and start cooking dinner.

Pretty modern looking business card!

Anybody have any luck getting a Modern Oak to hold a wood fire all night long like it says?

I used one on my camp for a season, I had a wood plate, a back pipe and 2 mpd in the stove pipe, we had to use round un split wood and there would be a good bed of coals 7-8 hours later but I think type of wood, how dry the wood is and draft all have a lot to do with it.
We pulled it because it was too large for the area and would lay in bed all night dying of the heat Even with the windows open

I met a older gentleman at his house a while back in Taunton . He was having a yard sale and was selling an antique stove. We got to taking and he told me his grandfather Worked at weir stove company and actually showed me a check stud from when he worked there. He then ga e me a glenwood lid lifter. He had a few stoves in his basement. Good find Dana. Now print some copies and send them out to all us coalies. Not for free of course !

Hi: I just purchased a Glenwood F wood/coal stove (680? I think). Was wondering if you could post any relevant pages from the Glenwood Stove Manual for me? Thanks in advance for any help!

The 680 is 30 years newer than my catalog, I can post the 208F pages if you wish

Yes. Please do. Thanks again for the help. Any suggestions on how to go about finding a manual for a 680?
