Hello friends! I picked up a automatic draft regulator (thermostatic controller) for my Warm Morning Locke 120 stove, and would like to share this nifty piece of antique technology with you all!

It attaches to the shaker door and has 3 heat settings: low, medium, and high. The back of the unit has a spring that automatically opens or closes the air door, which correlates to the temperature you select (low, medium, high). The back of the unit has a spring and as it heats up, the spring works to move the door automatically.

We have used this for about a week now. With this unit, we have found that the stove is not capable of running away... ever. The unit will automatically close the air door before it can run away. Very cool I must say.

Stay safe and healthy!

That didn't take long for the cast iron bug to bite you in the neither region. They breed like rabbits, be careful..
