On this Wonder No. 156, I see an air control in the ash pan drawer, a draft control slide just below the exhaust port.
What is the air control that is on the middle of the body on the backside for?

After some thought, might this be for a gas ring?

I looked at the photos again. Not sure what I was thinking earlier, but this time I don't see any air control in the load door. The knob on the back may be the overfire air control.

I've seen other Canadian manufacturers install the secondary air dampers on the back side of the stove.
