Thanks Bill, I’ve got a very handy son in law right here in town to help with the five minute move of the 6 from the truck to the sun porch when we get in Sunday evening

I used to slide stoves around the house on a 31 inch wide by 4 ft. piece of Structoglass but they seem to be heavier than I remember so I went and bought some of those 3 caster furniture mover things, they work great

Well what do you know, when you have control of infiltration and insulation your heating needs change LOL

FRANK is running in direct mode exclusively burning 10 Pounds @ 12 hours at -.02. It’s 48 and heavy mist outside and 70 and dry inside with 4 windows open downstairs

This is going to be interesting.

Have a safe trip and we look forward to seeing you guys.

Paulie

PS..... I'll let you post the finished pics. :D

I decided to post one pic to show some of our new members how a one minute cycle in an automatic shot blaster cleans up a rusted casting.

Got to Mtnbugy’s about 2:30 and got the grand tour, it’s pretty mind blowing when there is 9 rare and wonderful stoves ringing the open living/dining room and a total of 18 in the house and one Hooked up in the garage

There was so much to talk about and Arthur is a great host and historian of both stoves and his family. We even found that there are people in his history with an earlier variation of the spelling of Lorna’s fathers name

Here’s a pic of Arthur and “ country “ the pug with the Herald model oak #18
Got to Paul and Carol’s about 6:15 had a wonderful meal together and cooled our heels till bedtime. Today we’ll go down to Paul’s shop to put the mica in the load door and load up the stove

Lots of picks of all that I promise

Here are the pics so far from Paul’s new shop before we stripped and loaded the stove

There will be more once we get back home. I have to figure out how to get my phone flash to work consistently too
