Hi , wondered if anyone knew of a supplier , or has some them self spare , some fancy headed bolts to replace the existing black bolts that are used to hold the mica framework together in the doors of a baseburner stove . Any suggestions gratefully received. They are roughly 1/4” head , 3/16” thread , about 3/4” long . Thanks .

A picture of what you're looking for would be helpful in this quest. "Fancy headed" isn't going to work well in this case.

Sorry , saw them on a full restoration of a stove that was on eBay a few years back , don’t have a pics , but if memory serves they looked like a open flower and were a bronze or gold colour .

Wal, They are called Rosetts. The size is English #12-24 or called 7/32. Made from cast iron or brass. Looks like an opened flower bloom.

They are usually 5 dollars each if/when they are found.

Recast ones are about 7 dollars in cast iron more $$ for brass.

Try contacting member Dana Lapan, he might have some. I called someone and left a message.

You may be able to use something on this link that has a hole in it, and then use a rounded off brass bolt (or something else) thru the hole. My search term was "brass rosett" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid ... osett+bolt

Use a form of fast shipping if you buy anything from the USA. There have been a lot of shipping delays with cheaper cost shipping going on. Priority mail at a minimum.

If you have one to use as a pattern, even carved in wax, or plaster, that's a simple casting for a model RR foundry to do in brass in reusable silicon molds and centrifugal casting machines - a process that gives amazing finished detail of the original part used as pattern.

I have brass carburetor parts cast by a foundry in northern Pennsylvania that just does model RR parts. And they are not overly expensive per part when done in quantity.

Sorry, NO oversea shipping. He does have them 5 bucks each. No discount.

If you have one of them. Go to your local hobbie shop, buy a couple at home kits and do it yourself.
