Friday I was doing searches on Craigslist. I think I was on Las Vegas with all the surrounding locations checked and found a Red Cross stove listed for $1. The listing details said something like 'up for bid'. Attached were a number of photos. I wanted to look at them on my computer. This evening when I went to browse it, the listing is gone. I went to double check the URL on my phone's browser but the browser crashed and did not save the page or URL.

Anyone see the Red Cross / Craigslist listing?
Who was selling it?
Perhaps they are on here?
I have seen photos of other Red Cross and they are nice!
This one looked especially nice, but it is hard to appreciate on my phone's screen.
From what I did see even the exhaust port had ornamentation.

I didn't see that one. But there is 2 in New York state CL under pot belly stove. Price 300 for the pair.

I have an unrestored R.C.O. The restored ones are a real eye catcher.

That is a beautiful stove!
I have a note to myself to see if they posted any more photos of it, so I wonder it has been for sale for a while.

I was planning on sending you the link.
I seem to recall seeing it offered before, but I could be wrong. I created a Craigslist alert for it... if it comes up again I'll add it to this thread.
Of the Red Cross stoves I have seen I cannot say there have been any I did not like... well I like all of the coal stoves, but some I like more than others, especially the Red Cross line.
BTW do you have any photos of your Red Cross Oak 56 posted anywhere?
