As usual FF is once again correct. I believe you're just not filling it up enough. If you're confident that gaskets are good and stove is controlled, all you need is more depth. If still nervous, leave primary just sliver after its going good and watch it throughout the day. You have basics down. Hell, you got it going in fewer tries than I did. :yes:

No, I’m saving the coal, house is 70 with four people home for weeks maybe months now. Oil is for hot water now that spring is here.
