Is it possible to remove stains from the soapstone on top of a Crane 404? There is one for sale for $150 on FB Marketplace.

Make sure you check the fire pot!
If you need any parts, I have one with a bad fire pot and broken shaker grate. Glass is good. Not the soapstone model. I'm getting ready to retire it. Great stove.
