Hi all, new to the forum and the picker world. Need some help identifying my Moore's Brothers Airtight Heater. I've looked all over the internet for even a picture and I can't find one. So, if anyone could give any information, rarity and approximate valuation, I'd really appreciate it!

That type of circulating heater became popular in the 1920s. the filled in slots you see in the fire pot , I believe, were to assist in burning bituminous coal by conducting air through the coal bed sides as well as bottom.

Try the search box on the upper right for moore's stove. there has been discussion in the past.

Picker, I have one identical to it. It is currently not in service, needs the fire pot resealed and a new cast iron oblong exhaust elbow at the rear. Mine is about the same condition cosmetically as yours. I’ve been keeping it just because it will make a great little heater for someone if I ever get the parts.
