There's a 170 Stewart in NY. Has a welded up back pipe and a broken grate, with a little finial damage. Seller is asking 400, been for sale for awhile, might get it for less now.

Fat finger..
A 270. You can't modify an iron back pipe as easy as sheetmetal. Pics anyway.

Went looking on FB marketplace, (VT) and don't see this advertised. The column for antique stoves is a bottomless pit. Like the energizer bunny, just keeps going and going...

If you find it, I can grab it for you and sit on it till it's convenient to make the drive up, if it's the one in Manchester that's only about a hour from me

Thanks for the offer, Dana. My daughter lives in Raymond NH, so there are multiple possibilities.
And MB, another "thanks" for the link. But I don't have FB, so still not able to contact the seller.
Altho I like the model, the condition being labeled as "great", isn't lookin so great to me. At least not for almost a grand. I'ld have-ta see the guts, and the back. I see Doug advertising his as a split back pipe. Not sure how much of a benefit that is. Also curious about the mods to hook it to my existing wall thimble, that I've already moved once, and don't plan on doing it again. And having another project like that, really couldn't make it on my "ta-do" list for a while. Too many irons in the fire right now. But if the stove here is mostly complete, and adaptable to my hearth, and I could talk the seller down (quite a bit), maybe.....
