Missing Mica or just open?

Is anyone familiar with his type stove?
It is a Quad manufactured in Columbus, Ohio. I am new to cast iron stoves, but I find them fasinating.
I am assuming this a wood burning stove since it seems to be very open and it looks like it has a stable grate (not a shaker grate). I am a newbie and just learning, so please forgive my lack of knowledge at present...... is this stove completely open without any way to control the burn or is it missing mica in the doors?
...... Or am I totally off base.
It is an interesting looking stove and is very reasonably priced.....so I have been thinking about it, but have not been able to find anything about it.

From the pic, it looks like a natural gas parlor stove to me.

Yes to mica for the windows.

Should also have briquet things on the grate thing. Ceramic charcoal briquets that glow orange when heated.

They are pretty all redone. New paint and nickel plating.

They are very similar to the five pipe
Triple Effect gas parlor heater, made in Ohio I think. Some of the coal stove manufacturers made these also when cheap natural gas came to town.

This stove is a Quad made in Columbus, Ohio. I can't find anything about it. I liked the looks of the stove and I was interested in buying it if it was a coal burner, but I didn't understand how it could be, the way it was set up.

Thanks,
Dee

User Paned has an awesome gas stove setup, download/file.php?id=90612&mode=view
I especially like the what Paned did with the wings on the stove pipe.
Sharing this here for you, gadabout3, cause in all the images I found very few are of antique gas stoves, Paned's image should give you an idea of what that one might look like refinished and with nickel plating.

Paned's is a Triple Effect. It does look nice.

There is one on CL made by Favorite Stove and Range. This one is huge and very purrrrrrty. But pricey.

Wow, those are beautiful stoves.
My budget demands that I need to just stay in love with my Petit Godin for right now.
Thanks for the pictures. Something to aspire to.
