And another thing...I like about this range is the gas side stove top plates lift off revealing the burner grates. Just flip over and cook. one of these is broken in 2, while one has a partial break (hasn't separated yet). Are these weldable? Or are they easy to get?

Cast iron can be welded, but it's tricky. If you properly preheated and cooled very slowly it'll cause more cracks. You need to find a welder who is experienced with it and very few welders are.

Or, those broken pieces can be used as a pattern to recast a new cover. Tomahawk does a lot of that type work.
