Pulled the old girl apart and vacuumed her out... Cleaned the micca and will wax tomorrow... She's asleep for another year. At least she's asleep and not dead!!! Was quite the pleasure to fire her up for the first time in probably 50 plus years!!!

Got any photos of her running? Beauty of a stove!
About to clean mine up for the season, a McClary No. 114 base burner, and I'm curious to know what to do to help preserve the stove between seasons. You mention waxing and that thought hadn't occurred to me. Is there a preferred product to keep these stoves in prime condition in the off season?

I use turtle wax chrome polish to clean up the nickel... Then I touch up the black with paste stove polish... Finally I use turtle wax spray on car way on the nickel to protect it and done...
