Hey all I’m a newb to the forum and have purchased a McClary No 45 heater and was wondering if anyone had any info on these stoves like the year value and operation and such. I’m in the process of restoring it for my ice shack and can’t believe how great of shape it’s in!! I’m looking to burn wood in it was told by the hearth forum to come here for the best information. I’ve built a diffuser grate for using wood and would like to know everyone’s thoughts. Cheers!

There is a fellow in Canada, where these are built that I came across...let me see if I can find you a link...

He is big time into the cook stoves but is fluent in others...maybe he can be of some help to you...
