I guess I'll start by saying I'm a complete newbie in this hobby. I said something last week to my father in law about wanting a wood stove for my garage. He gave me this.
Can you give me any information about it? Can you tell me what repairs it needs to be safe?

Is it safe to run this with a crack in the fire pot?

You could probably fill the crack with furnace cement just to get you by. Come Spring you may want to think about having the pot recast though.

Thanks. Who do you recommend for recasting the pot?
