Pauliewog, every time I see a picture of that stove AND the work you did in that room, I am amazed at your talents.

As bad as I want a Glenwood#6, I'd love to get the chance to find and restore a similar stove. I'm a big fan of those stoves with all that fire viewing area. If I recall correctly, I believe jubileejerry has a similar stove, perhaps a different maker.

Hope you and Steve have safe and great time at William's...lucky birds.

Very nice indeed, Paned!

Here’s a couple of the baseburners with a fake fire. Imperial Acorn and the big Favorite 261. Only have the one location setup for coal right now.

Ok been and back and going thru the relight in the stove so while I watch and keep loading layers I'll put up some pics a couple vids and some explanation

First off we didn't get out to Williams till about supper time and needed to get the 113 out of the basement and the world famous 6 moved over to the flue and hooked up so like a dummy I just started in and got zero pics of the 113

I have a minute and a half of video of Williams amazing acoustic cabinet Victrola the sound quality was superb

Can't get it to load up though

All in all a most enjoyable visit with two sensational hosts and a 5 star meal to boot if time allowed would still be there as I'm sure neither Paul nor William would have run out of conversation topics yet 😂

yeah it was a band of brigands to be sure.

one of the other highlights of the evening was Paul's sudden disclosure that he had a line on a complete unmolested "50" for pocket change that he hadn't committed to and William nearly giving him a cane whipping

we had a rough time getting out there with delays and frustrations involved with delivering motorhomes on our way in then, some issues with the tow car on the way back but i had waited a couple yrs for the meeting and even if i'd had fore warning i wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Thanks William and Emery

Did I hear a can and a half.

Paulie could not see the 6 at the stove hospital cause the 50 can and half was in the way of everything.

Whoops a GW or a C50???

not my deal, all will be revealed by the directly involved member if it unfolds.

all i'm saying is it's an obscure unit of high interest. i wouldn't try to raise Paul today he's likely on a little road trip

Still patiently awaiting a pickup time on the C50. :D

It was an absolute pleasure finally getting to spend some time with our gracious hosts William and Emery and am looking forward to their visit here in the not so distant future. The meal was outstanding and the hospitality beyond belief.

We were in a bit of a rush to load up the 113 and neither Steve nor I got to take any pictures of it in its setting.

I did get a pic of Steve in action securing the pipes on the #6 once we moved it into place while Emery, William, and I were in deep discussion.

I think you can definitely cook a 16 lb turkey in the oven........ and possibly squeeze in an 18 to 20 lb.

unfair pics of the 113. it had sat in a constant rain saturday night in the back of the truck. this is NOT an image of Williams use or neglect of the stove.

it'll clean up real nice and make some lucky soul a very fine heater.

and of course the unloading pics prove that once you are a professional rigger you just can't do stuff the "average" way ;)

door glass was smudgey from starting up with wood base and grill charcoal. So i tied one of those sponge sanding pads to remove crap. it worked! door glass was hot, so did it quickly and wiped off with dry paper towel!
