Hey Guys,

I was wondering where the numbers (20,30,40 etc) would be on a Glenwood Oak? They don't seem to be on the front of the stove or at least in the pictures I see. I've been messaging someone who has one for sale and she cant seem to find the numbers.

Maybe get her to measure the barrel diameter...even when you get a casting number i.d., it means little if you still don't know the diameter (grate size).

Glenwood often used the model name and number, followed by the year that the patterns were made, followed by that piece's part number.

Example;
Where there is room enough, the parts on my Sunny Glenwood begin with "SG", then the model "208", then the year "1903", then the part number.

Have her look on the inside of several parts of the stove. The model size should be the first number and be the same on each part.

Thanks Guys! She ended up fidning the number in the lower part of the stove. It was just hidden by the rust. It was a Glenwood 30 16" firepot.

The numbers are cast into the lower door to the ashpit. Also , most parts will have the size cast into them. Glenwood was good at labeling their parts.
