Magee Mistletoe #2

Picking up this stove tomorrow.
Looks to be in very good shape. No rust. Liner appears to be newer. Plating is in very good shape.
Only issue I could find was I could slide a dollar bill through the ash pan door fairly easily. Door closes tight though.
Any idea of what something like this is worth? Want to make sure I made a good choice... :D

i dont know its value. I would light it outside first just in case they didnt use high temp paint on it, if they were just displaying it. It looks kind of shiny is my reason for suspicion, but Im sure some stove paint is shiny like that and I havent seen it.

Not to sound wise but it is worth what ever you paid for it...now keep in mind I have seen them for sale for as little as $50.00 and as much as $500.00.

Thanks guys. I ended up passing on it. Removing the paint would have been a big job.

If it isnt high heat paint, it will burn off if you light it outdoors. All but maybe on the bottom part. At least thats what happened with me on a small potbelly.
