We work to have the stove, buy coal, and work some more to tend it, all so that we can be warm. Yet some people think pets are just dumb animals.

So, ..... who's the real dumb animal?

Hey, you have to give them cats a break. Look at all the work they have-ta tend to, on a daily basis. They have to follow you everywhere, to get any food scraps that might hit the floor. When they're on "duty" at night, they have-ta keep up on mouse and rodent control. When we come home, they have to put up with all that "petting" that people force on them, and when the kids carry them around like they're their own pocket books, or practicing the Heimlich maneuvers, it's no wonder they're all pooped out, and need to find a warm place to chill out. :D

Of two dogs and two cats only one cat likes the heat and the others avoid it unless I have let the stoves really run out for a while. Baby was left with us years ago by a son's girlfriend and the cat crawls under the range and walks a round and has a bed nearby. Kind of a dark photo.
Looking at all these photos makes me want to go home and put my feet up, but not too close to the stove, and sleep for three weeks.

I'm with Fred...if it doesn't say Lab in front of it, it's an infiltrator. LOL!!! I prefer Labs with a cup of coffee on the most blustery snowy morning, water just about froze up, with her head to the sky looking and listening for "whistling wings".

That pig is just too funny!

Melissa will be so jealous. She's always wanted a pet pig.

But she had to settle for me, instead.
