Well been warm lately so I shut down the coal stove. Been running a few gassers. Old cat ain’t no dumb dumb. She knows where the heat is. She’ll live by the Florence all winter. But she always has a backup plan. Hanging by the Triple Effect now. Let’s see some photos of your four legged friend enjoying the heat.

The Cat loved living under the kitchen range. When I started the GW #6 a couple of weeks ago, she was a bit Leary of it at first, .... but then, it didn't take her long to figuring out which stove gives off more heat..... and where. She won't go near the rear of the stove where the hottest flues run under it. ;)

Darn new Windows 10 computer turns the pix back sideways again.

Yeah Fred,..... all the "modern inconveniences" !!!!!!!

With my Windows 7 computer I could repost other guys sideways pictures, right side up - like Randy does for them.

Now that I have the blankity-blank Windows 10, after I drag and drop a picture on the desktop and turn any sideways pictures right side up - like I did with Win 7 - then when I upload it, Win 10 puts them back like it came from the camera,..... agggggg !!!!

BEWARE! That 10 "upgrade" messed up our Win 8 computer. I kept getting the notice and clicking no. When it was nearing the deadline, I l left the computer for a few hours and when I came back I found that 10 had downloaded anyway. Followed the instructions for removing 10 and the computer never worked right again.

I must've gotten the "Weds." version of 10, cause it works OK for me. Course my computer is relatively new too, maybe that helps. But I think it still will post sideways photos. When that dilemma occurs, I just use my 'bucket.

Joe,
The Win 8 computer that Win 10 updated on it's own, finally died this week, so I replaced it with this new Win 10 computer just a couple of days ago.

The new machine, while it's slower than my Win 7 and 8 computers were, it works ok. It's just that after I rotate the pictures right-side-up before uploading to my post, it still flips them back on their side during the upload. The Win 7 and 8 versions did not flip it back after I rotated them right-side-up.

Paul

Edit. Just tried rotating the picture right-side-up while its still in the folder then dragging it to the desktop and uploading from there. Still flips it back on it's side.

With Win 7 and 8 it didn't matter where I rotated the picture, it stayed rotated during the upload !
