Crazy enjoying Turkey Day. Stove setting are running at 350 top of barrel. 175 on the stove pipe. Floor measured 102 degrees and Crazy’s back measured a hot 127 degrees. She loves the heat.

The old dog leaned on my son for about 15 minutes when he came back from B.C. I only took her when he left.
Last winter when it was cold she lay down and my youngest son went out and carried her in. This morning she faltered and lay down its cold here, and I booted up and ran out but when I called he she got up and came. The other dog was already whimpering at the door for the first time in her life.

I came home late from daughter's Birthday and didn't even look at the stoves but in the morning started the range. When I came back I was surprised to see Baby on the bumper. I guess she knows what is safe but I thought it was cute that she found a spot close to the little warmth there was.

True!
And, they also know where it's just the right temp for a nap. ;)
