Dickson Oak Stove Questions

Hi all,
I am toying with the idea of replacing my Vermont Castings Intrepid II stove in my house with a small coal stove. Due to my work schedule it is impossible to keep a fire in the Vermont Castings 24/7 so I'm constantly starting new fires which gets annoying. I ran across this stove locally and was curious if anyone has any experience/knowledge they could share. I have a hand fired coal furnace in my garage that I use so I'm not exactly new to coal, but i have no experience with this style. I'm thinking this is a cool old stoove and would be fun to play with. I am also looking at a warm mornings 414a which I think is newer and would possibly be less hassle? Any input is appreciated.

Hi jibs...to bad no one saw this here. Most folks like you and me hang in the hand fired section. Of course more pictures would be needed to make an educated guess in regards to your original question. There should be a few folks that burn coal in a Warm Morning 414, just a matter of being seen my friend. Hang in there.
