Well I decided to work on the old 416 for my winter project for 2018. Sending the nickel out next week and hopefully start a tear down to see what I get into. She is a little rough but worth saving. Complete except missing the foot rails. I thought I had a set but my set was for a 415 not a 416. I’ll continue to post progress. Really ornate castings, should be quite a piece when finished.

Wow another beauty about to come back to life ! Did you ask Brian about a set of foot rails?
He may be able to round you up a loner set for recast.

Maybe this will help motivate you. Restored mine last winter and now it is keeping my place nice and warm. Mine is a 416A, not really sure what the difference is. Good luck.

Real beauties !!!
When I was teenager, I saw one similar belonging to a friend of my Father's. Seeing one up close, with it's massive size and all that plating, was stunning. Has to be experienced to really appreciate the visual impact.

Wow Skip what a beauty. Cannot wait to get this one done. I am missing the foot rails if anyone has a set I can recast from. Here is the early model 261 I finished last year.

I'm sitting on a incomplete Favorite #513. And you guys are killing me.
Favorite #513 needing pieces
No foot rails either, Paned, Sorry
It looks dismal to discover any parts short of finding another whole same model stove.
Although what all I have here now is in very fine condition.
Note that this model has dual primary air inlets.

Mac, does it have all the pieces needed to run it ?
In your parts search, have you tried contacting all of the many stove resto shops, including those outside the New England areas, such as Rusty Iron ranch, Ginger Creek, and some others ?

It can burn just need the 90 outlet.
Talked to Rusty Ranch and might of to Ginger Creek...no good.
You're spot on about searching outside of NE on these...since midwest manufacturer.
I have some good antique stove contacts saved from a while back, I'll have to revisit again.

Made a little headway today. Got a few pieces blasted and painted. Waiting for the first good buddy to show up to help me move the rest of baseburner in teardown room. Old girl is quite heavy.

Saw this on FB marketplace/ yard sale in Salem Va. They're asking $500 . Might be able talk them down . Looks like a parts stove.

That’s a neat stove you have. Not sure what parts will interchange. For example the 416 and model 261 have a lot of the same parts. I have a parts 415 stove. Not sure if bonnet would fit your stove or not. I’ll keep my eye out on any parts for your stove.
