Hi Guys, I've been on here awhile and learned a lot about burning coal and lately about antiques. I have a question.. So, my wife was shopping in the small town where we live today and she saw this Baltimore heater style insert in the salon. Apparently the owner might be looking to sell the building and furnishings.
I don't know the model of the stove but I do know it was made by Fuller and Warren in Troy, NY. There are some isssues, it looks like the decorative trim piece is missing, a portion of the shroud is broken and some knobs may be missing. Other than that it looks pretty solid. I think it's a baseburner because of the dampers but I don't know for sure. I haven't seen the stove in person yet but my wife took some pictures. If anybody knows more about this stove I'd appreciate the input. Also, what would be a fair price for this stove in its present condition? Thanks, Jeremy

Go buy that right now!!!!
Bring cash ($100 bills) ask what they want for it then offer what you can afford/are comfortable with. I’d drop a lot on that it looks real good. You can’t be shure till you tear it apart but it looks good from here. In fact, if I lived near there I’d already have contacted the shop after seeing this post and got it out from under you hahahahaha!!!
Good thing you did not post a town or address.....the vultures on here would be in their cars already.
You are VERY lucky to have stumbled on that!!

Top trim, footrest, and back shroud are missing, but the rest looks pretty nice.
If it were offered for sale or up for auction, I would offer $400 If it were complete I would bid up to $1200.

Hi, this one could be a base burner ?, the photo showing a link handle can be for a manual damper or for the base burner damper, usually you have one control link for each one. We need more photos showing the entire back but not easy to take photos in this situation. As said some parts are missing and without the stove all apart it's hard to really know what you can find in it.
If you can restore it by yourself and want to get it as when new it will be very hard to find some photos showing it having all the original parts.
If you only want it as a nice insert, capable to give you a lot of heat it's OK. It also depends if you have a fire place for it....
Bravo to your wife to be able to bring you back these photos
For the price, I can't give any: here we only have Canadian money

How much might it cost to replace all of the missing mica window pieces? What else might be missing?

Very pretty stove.
My guess is,..... with what looks like a flue opening to the left of the firepot in the seventh picture, plus what looks like a stove pipe going to what might be the rear of the base, it's likely a base heater.

You can buy a sheet of mica for next to nothing & cut inserts yourself!!

When my wife said the owner might be interested in selling that was a big might! Their holding on to the stove maybe next time.
Here some photos showing a Baltimore Heater, ( not the Sunny except the last one ), you can seen 2 controls lever at the top, one on the right and one at the left of the top trim. Usually Baltimore Heater are like that and the rear 3 base burner pipes are inside a sort of jacket. But the one you saw may be different, it could be a base burner insert??????? That's why more photos from the rear could help to be certain of that.
