J**********,
Bummer, sorry to hear that. What was the name of that town again, just in case Paulie is in the neighborhood?
Cheers

Hi Norcan, the stove has those damper controls along the top. Also, the flue leading up the chimney starts at the base of the stove. Unfortunately it's not for sale after all. A beautiful stove nonetheless and nice to see up close.
Thanks for sharing the pictures, it really helps to understand how these stoves were designed to operate.

if we make the right offer on the building we can insist that the stove stay, then remove the stove and dump the building.

I had the wheels cut slightly to the right, the cruise control on and a bungee cord on the steering wheel.
Already welded caster wheels on the side of the front and rear bumpers that line right up with the recessed groove in the guiderails.
Only thing I had to do is put my beer down while I was typing.

Thanks Larry, still a few bugs to work out before I apply for the patents.
Most of the Baltimore heaters I run across were not removed properly and the shroud that Norcan mentioned is missing. This is a typical shroud from a Baltimore Heater. Paulie

Crap there is soo much to learn ... download/file.php?id=41069&mode=view ... I will never master it all. OK, we bought the expensive white gowns, we have both got the blue socks ... the cat is an idiot and refuses to sit still for pics. I may never solve that one. We have both taken up knitting... yep I think I have got it knocked. OH, the stove ... no problems roaring away. Not worth a photo.
Next step, remove propane line from the ash collection door in the basement without killing myself. Forced draft into the door in and out on the floor at the back of the fireplace. Stove will be full speed etc. governed by the brass controller shown. The 100 year old thermostat will be detailed in Sunnyside chapter 2. Fun, fun, fun. What's a shroud?
