Mike, you can also speed up the cure a bit by hanging a drop light in the stove for 24 hours.
Start out with a 60 watt incandescent bulb for the first 12 hours, and finish with a 100 watt incandescent for the next 12 to draw out most of the moisture.
A few small charcoal fires the following day....... and you will be set to go .
