Hey guys, here is my latest project a early Favorite 261 baseburner. She was pretty rough but I had to save her. Total tear down, sandblast, and reassemble. Project coming along pretty well. Plans right now just a trouphy queen. Only reason is I have one setup for coal and it's occupied by my Florence 153. I'll post more pics as project progresses.

Got the nickel back from Mill Lake. Brian did an excellent job as always. 29 pieces of nickel for the 261.

Ouch...that must've been a lot of coin. Looking good! Keep the pics coming. Scott, move your phone back a little when viewing this thread to avoid it getting wet with drool...haha

Nickel looks sensational !!!! Love the contrast with darkened backgrounds around the relief.

Wow!! That is so nice. I️ love the wing detail on the trim. That’s gonna be such a nice stove. By the way I️ sent you a pm a while back on parts for the 153. I’m in need of a few and I’m hoping you have them! Let me know!

261 coming along nicely. Got the nickel on. Waiting for Finial to get finished at plater. Still have to change out some bolts. Took several pictures of nickel. Brian at Mill Lake did an awesome job with the Nickel work. Also took a picture of 261 beside a Triple Effect 5 tube to demonstrate the stove of the stove.

If ever there was a stove that could run out words to describe how beautiful it looks, that's the one.

I second what Paul (Sunny Boy) said.
Paned,
On you Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:37 pm post, the last two photos...
the top portion of the baseburner, where the crown of nickeled parts are hung, are those nickel parts vented?
I have pondered, how the heat radiated off the top part of the baseburner gets out to the room if those nickeled crown parts are not vented.
I am curious, do tell.

This might be a dumb question but, you DO plan on using that stove? Right, I hope lol.
I'm willing to do a second mortgage, how much do you need for it?
