Great research!
That is interesting history and I will drill down to discover more.
There is a casting date circling the base of the stove.
It says, "Fuller . Warren & CO No 20-82 Troy, New York Pat'd June 20. 1876."

The stove could have been built a number of years after that 1876 Patent date. But, it still puts it right in the range that our resident stove historian William Sherrick said it was. That means that it's very likely your stove was built in Troy - well before there ever was a Wisconsin factory.

So, along with Wilson's 1879 Glenwood range, it looks like you have one of the earliest working stoves on this website. Congrats on preserving such a rare and beautiful piece of history. ;)

Cool! Now I am scared to use it. Perhaps I should call the historical society.

All through the 60's and early 70's I remember holidays in the grandparents basement with that thing cranking out the BTU's.
After that house was sold my Dad lugged the stove over to his basement where it sat disassembled for years. Then when we sold my parents house I drug it over to my machine shop where it resided until last year when I hauled it down to Madison and had it restored. The guy who did it has restored many stoves but was unable to tell me much about this make/model.
Although he said it was a "survivor" and "not very common".
Your forum has given me much insight and I am grateful. When I get it going I will continue to share here. (Sure wish Gramps had kept the owners manual)

The chubby Stove Co. also makes an oval to round cast iron adapter. I have one, took a couple photos so you could see the dimensions. The oval measurements are: 7.5"L X 4"W. When I bought mine I believe they were $75.00 plus shipping.

That may almost work.
I see their web site and I will contact them.
At $75 they are not giving them away but, oh well.
It took a little bit of grinding to make it work, but I know it will never burn out in my lifetime. It make a nice clean install for my cooking range in the garage.

I think you can take your 6” stove pipe, and with care and patience, form it to the oval shape and it should fit your outlet.Measure the circumference of the oval to be sure and use a pipe of the same circumference. It will fit.You can also find pre-formed oval adapters at stove shops or hardware stores.
fifthg:

You were correct!.
I pushed, prodded, bent, pried and forced it. And - - - It fit!!
(There was some bad language involved)

Thanks

sorry to revive this thread,
think I saw one of these Fuller & Warren "Splendid" globe type stoves
on the "The Antique Stove Asociation 2018 Annual Convention" slideshow on youtube at 5:31
which appears to have visited Barnstable Stove Shop, though I did not see it featured on their website, but it mentions over 500 stoves available
I think I have seen Doug post on here so maybe he will chime in if it is the same stove or not.

Emory posts on here. Maybe you were thinking of him ? And a few other members of this website were at that show.

Yes, It's at Barnstable. Artie and I were looking at it and I took a few pictures.

I'll post them tonight or tomorrow.

Paulie and I crawed around that one.
IIRC that mica globe was 7500.00 as is.
Not a typo.

Thanks Artie......... I remember the sticker shock but not the amount.

I have the nameplate footrest and trim ring from one. Spend a good part of a day in upstate NY searching for which Antique dealer she sold the remainder of the stove to for $150. I plan to resume my search up there this summer.

Of the globe heaters I have seen on here and in the old catalogs, they all look nice, but this model really appeals to me.
Too bad I don't have space for a free standing stove and $7500+resto for one.
