Year Army Stove was Made
Hello folks! Last summer I picked up a #18 Army Cannon stove to refinish. I heard somewhere that the date of manufacture is on the inside of the legs. Well, it has "0 40" stamped on the inside (as well as the inside of the bottom door). I presume that means 1940? Does anyone know what the "0" means? I was thinking maybe where it was made, but obviously I don't have any idea. Thanks! Curt

I don't have any idea, either, but maybe this guy could help; he seems to have a number of cannons.
