I've got a lead on another base heater. Its a 114 with a suspended fire pot. I'm waiting for the owner to answer the question but the stove is in PHENOMENAL shape except, I believe the actual fire pot is missing. The gas ring is on site but the photos look as though there is only the barrel sitting on the base.
Has anyone "created" one for casting? I have a smaller version of a similar stove (10) and the pot is a 2-piece cylindrical shape.
I'm on the fence about this one because the rest of the stove looks fantastic and hardly used.

If it is the Glenwood 114 that you refer to, that is an oak stove either with or without indirect back pipe. The fire pot is not suspended.

My G109 pot was trashed. I had Wilson make me a new one from heavy gauge steel. Worked beautifully! It can be done, I don't think it's that expensive. Might want to reach out to him.

Ditto what franco b said about a 114 being an Oak, not a base burner!

Quick timing
Its an our herald and it is suspended.
I was wondering about fabricating one... I suppose heavy steel would work? I was trying to come up with a way to mold one for casting but maybe I'm over-thinking it.

Can anyone pm me contact info for Wilson? I sent him a pm a couple of weeks ago asking about some 116 grates but I don't think he's been on.
