Some times good deals pop up.

For the price of a Happy meal or Steak dinner.

Scott and i will be waiting, none too patiently on my part. that is one of the few stove that it would only take the correct combination of exposures to be mine without hesitation.

Joe,
The Glenwood 50 is their biggest Oak stove - a model line that started before the "Modern Oak" line of 112, 114, 116, and 118.

The 50 has a 20 inch pot. The "can and a half" is a barrel extension on top and it was a model offered. Check out the fourth picture down in this GW catalog.

One of my BIL has a Beckwith Round Oak - 24 inch pot and barrel extension that makes the stove 7 feet to the top of the finial. The heat output is painful standing within a few feet of it. :o

Yes, they are meant to be used in a large space such as a Church, like the Round Oak of my BIL's was. He's heating his entire house with lots of big windows in it and not having to push the stove to it's limit, either.

My Co-pilot dragged this home for me.
Found it at the S.P.C.A.
Special Place for Coal burning Appliances.

Wehrle Acme Ventiduct 38 .
18 inch fire pot.
