The Clarion has been carrying it's own weight down to 0 oat. Then the WM has to help. Had a small puff back this morning(swoosh).
Tried to wake it up to fast. First attempt a real low idle. Had it at
151 barrel top, stack 108 for 24 hrs. Should be able to get lower
while still in base mode. Still sipping coal at 24% overdrive, 30%
is to much.

Left the Clarion burn out yesterday, to clean out what ever was in base chamber. It burned 63 hours on about 50 lbs of black rocks.
At 200 deg in cruise mode, needed a little heat in the mornings.
Found around 1/8 to 3/16 inch ash in base chamber, a little deeper under back pipe. Less than I was expecting.
Next time to do a clean out I'm not going to shut it down. Just stick crevis tool from shop vac in, 3 minutes later done.

63 hrs MB? Did you add anything to it, or shake a little ash out of it once or twice? Sounds like you've got it tuned in nicely. Will you need to re-fire it again this season? Mine came back to life a couple weeks ago, and am milking it along another day or two. Then I'll be out...again...for the 3rd time these past few weeks. It was 70° yesterday, and today, back down to 40. (highs).

The heating season ended somewhere between midnight and 5:30 am this morning .
Total for 2017-18 season 9580lbs, ish.
Since heating season is over, restoration season is in high gear.
These two are mine, another on it way soon.
One more is not mine.

That 626 should put out some nice heat. Do you have a recipient room for the double heater? What kind of grating is in it? And how do you shake it down? Congrats on being one of, if not the longest to burn this season.
