Ditto what Phil said !!!!

Long journey for that stove. And after all that, your lucky to have the original shaker handle, check damper elbow, and wood plate, too. They often get lost along the way.

Interesting that the teeth of the outer grate bars don't line up with the teeth of the inner bars. Never seen that with a Glenwood parlor, or range before. But then, I've never had a chance to see the grates on a 114 before, either.

So many stoves - so few chimneys. I must be coal-stone crazy.

SB Right side grates bind up when grinding up coal, need to grind a little off the shoulders. Made good heat with
Kingsford than added nut, made better heat. Even with a cracked fire pot. Pot is @ Tomahawk. Cried today when
blasting off whats left of blueing on barrel.

Ash pan not original but made with cold rivets .Must have been a farmer. Got a poker to . it has writing on it but can't read it

You "are" the ambitious one MB. Got it apart, pot sent to Tomahawk, nickle all polished nicely, base and barrel all painted, and who knows what else. All in a couple days?!
What are you on? Can I have some?
