Oh. I had three boys and two girls. I remember when they were young and the house was full. Once they were running in the back door and out the front door with some friends. Around the block and through the doors again all shouting and laughing. Sigh. That was the older three. It was all good fun.

So... on a lighter note because my workday is a little stressful, the more I use my mini tool set the more I wonder if it was made for a range. It’s getting clean with use!
Coal burners should have no trouble heating their sinuses up. We’ll get that anthracite tan bit do what

So now I can use the ash as cat litter. How can anyone THINK of shutting coal down?

The heat warning has arrived here now. Such extremes. Supposed to rain Tuesday. I read we’re going to have thunderstorms this summer.
What does up on the hill mean?

So going through things and found a 1978 Harrowsmith and I always assume everything is American but this family built a log house and installed this stove and when I read the article to see if it’s one of you guys it was someone from Montreal and he bought the notched logs from old log houses about twenty minutes from where I am in Ontario. But he built it in Sutton Quebec. Doesn’t say where he found the Glenwood, just says he put a Glenwood in the kitchen as if everyone would know. Says he used 25 facecords of wood to heat the house.

Down to zero at nights here. First coal fire in the 116 because I thought September would be hot as it usually is and the range isn't ready yet.
Geese have flown end August and a few other congregations. I think I saw a grouse but only once.
