Here is progress on top nickel. Original nickel polished and added black accents. Not perfect but I felt it was in good enough shape to save. Only original once.

Hard to imagine such a beautiful stove could get any better looking, but it does with all that contrasting black on the nickel.

But look at the grillwork of all those windows!!!! I hope you don't have to mortgage the house to pay for all the mica that beauty needs. :D

That's a real stunner. The work is beautiful. It reminds me of Celtic designs.
