Here's some ads from 1926 thru 1929. 1926 had only two sizes. 1927-28 and 29 had three sizes.
Hope you like them.

They call one a circulator, and the other a radiant heater. I was misunderstanding the circulator to be a heater with a pump, that would heat water, and pump it to a system. and the radiant, wouldn't. I think I'm missing something. Could someone please explain the difference? Thanx.

A, "circulating," stove is one that uses natural convection as the means to move heat away from the heated stove surfaces to the room.
The cabinet around the outside of the stove is a just a sheet metal shell which directs cold air in from the bottom of the stove which then rises out of the top as it is heated.
A radiant stove heats by direct radiant heat from the fire. Air is heated the same way but all of the surfaces around the perimeter of the stove are heated as well.
A mica base burner is/was called a, "radiant heater," because the thin mica walls allow for a very large portion of the direct radiant heat from the fire to escape to the room.

OK William, I get the 1st 2, but still don't understand a "Mica"- BB heater. 1st time I've ever heard this term.

Mica base burners are the real fancy ones. A picture below.

I see. I was under the impression those were called "Jewels". (Which is probably a brand name.)

Jewel was, indeed; a popular brand at the beginning of the last century. They made wonderfully designed parlor heaters.
