Wilson,
That Herald is looking real good.
By the way, how come it took 6 months to rebuild the Herald I have, and this one looks almost complete in 2 weeks? Please don't tell me you were using the Herald I have for practice! (GOTCHA!!!)
Keep posting those pics. They look good.
Cheers

D, you got me!!! Truth to it I had just finished 2 114 glenwood oaks, and after working on your stove I realized the features of the herald oaks, little heavier fire pot, 4 window mica door, and mostly the upper door instead off the taller door with the smoke flapp. I am still impressed by Glenwood's back pipe design, and will use that system on the twin herald. your nickel cleaned up nice.

Wilson,
When I brought this 'black beauty' to New Hampshire, you were placing an order for 'ash pans' for the Herald 14. Please UPS me one when they arrive. Having 2 pans allows the ash to cool before dumping.

The apples are starting to fall from the tree. We'll be lighting up in the near future. Where did the Summer go?
Cheers

Had a roomate way back in my military days, whose father was an AMC freak, and owned lots of AMXs. Even had an original 10 sec. S/S one with crossram. These pics were from mid 70s, and was my roomates daily driver. 13.7s all day with street tires.

Mine had no large hood scoop just a small non functional nacelle on left & right side of hood. Mine was dark blue with white stripe ran from front fender back and swept up over the roofline. While I was in the Navy stationed at New London, Conn around 1968 a friend had an S/C Rambler, that was the little American model with the 390. I think it was mostly yellow with some black accents. It was beastly fast. I quit wasting rubber & gas trying to out drag him with my SS 396. I should not feel too bad, in retrospect I was packing a good deal more weight than that little American.

Wilson,
Ash pan arrived in the mail. It fits like a 'glove'. Thank you, you know that saying,"the check will be in the mail"!!! Is the Herald 14 'twin to mine' completed, or are you working other projects?
Cheers
