Glenwood Owners,

If anyone wants a magazine for a Glenwood base heater (the 118, #6 or #8 models) I'm getting things set up to make it happen.

The owner of an original Glenwood Base heater magazine is going to send it to the foundry. As soon as it arrives, I'll post here that it is ready to go. I will give all needed information of who to contact and whatever other details are needed.

There will be a window of a few weeks where anyone who wants one will be able to call the foundry and say how many they want. The foundry will tell each person how much it will cost them, each person pays the foundry directly. At the end of that couple weeks, the order time will be over, the parts will be cast, parts sent to those that want them and the original sent back to the owner. Case closed...

This seems like the only reasonable way to do this so nobody feels uncomfortable.

THAT is great. Thanks a bunch.
We would have got there eventually but this makes things much simpler.

Thanks again.

OK, so I'll need to know how many magazines people want to talk to the foundry and see what the cost per will be.

I'm taking two, Simon wants one, There might be one more being asked for. Once I have a rough idea, I can let the foundry know and they can give me an idea of cost per part.

I'll take one if it's not too much trouble.

Well, I won't know until I have an idea of how many people want one (or more). There are about 5 total requested right now. How many do you think you'll want?

William - you out there? I haven't heard from you. You want 1 or more?

One for now. Depending on price, maybe two.

I'll take one for my #6. If price is low enough to fit my stove budget, I'll take more for my two 118's.

I have to have new grates cast for my range and I've still yet order 10 ton of coal.

OK folk, this has been hanging there for a bit, at this point there are a total of 12 magazines spoken for.

Pancho - 1
dhansen - 1
involute - 1
Sunny Boy - 1
Merc300d - 1
Kennebago - 1
vfw3439 - 1
wsherrick - 2
coalnewbie - 1
dlj -2 (that's me..)

If I missed anyone, let me know ASAP. I'll be calling the foundry this week (hopefully tomorrow but one never knows what happens at work especially since I was on vacation last week). I'll find out the price an how the foundry wants to handle everything. Hopefully a date to be done by and if they want you all to pay them directly or how that is gong to work. Will post here with what I find out. Don't worry if you don't hear from me for a few days as I'll likely be up to my ears in alligators, as they say, this coming week...
