So does that confirm that where the weight is on top of the damper is correct ? Or am I thinking of other stoves of yours ?

Nice picture, Scott- thanks. Yeah, looks rather hellish inside there.

But,.. what's with the low firebed ? I know your not having a coal drought with all that Lehigh you just bought. :D

It was tended and topped to the bottom of the load door at 0500 when I went to work. Wifey decided when she came back from errands in the AM that she wanted to turn the stove up. She did and went in the "office" (front room) to work via her computer. When I got home earlier the stove room was 84* :shock: :mad: The Crawford was happily screaming along at 675*. I asked if she wondered why the house was so warm....she said " because you burn anthracite honey". I didn't know if I should be mad or happy :lol: :lol:

The Crawford is getting a break this fall and will sit on this over the winter. I just finished its tune up :D
