So does that confirm that where the weight is on top of the damper is correct ? Or am I thinking of other stoves of yours ?

oil there Scott.

Nice picture, Scott- thanks. Yeah, looks rather hellish inside there.
But,.. what's with the low firebed ? I know your not having a coal drought with all that Lehigh you just bought.

The Crawford is getting a break this fall and will sit on this over the winter. I just finished its tune up
